This summer's movies are listed below. We have a great selction of movies for everyone. Do not miss this summers movie madness.
Midsummer Madness Movie Series begins with a comedy about Manhattan businessman Richard who sends his wife and son to Maine to escape the summer heat, The Seven Year Itch is perhaps most famous for the iconic scene with Marilyn Monroe in her white dress. Hilarity ensues as Richard tries to resist the temptation of the voluptuous Hollywood beauty.
Our second movie is a classic documentary about surfers in search for the perfect wave, The Endless Summer transports viewers around the world to some of the most beautiful oceans and sunny, sandy beaches.
Our third movie, One Crazy Summer, is about an aspiring teenage cartoonist and his friends come to the aid of a singer trying to save her family property from developers
The piece de resistance for this season is the 1958 box office smash hit, Auntie Mame. Mame Denis, a progressive and independent woman of the 1920s, is left to care for her nephew Patrick after his wealthy father dies. Mr. Babcock, Patrick's assigned executor, objects to Mame's unconventional way of living and tries to force her to send Patrick to prep school. As Mame and Patrick grow closer, Mr. Babcock tries to discipline Patrick and threatens to separate the two if Mame does not comply with his wishes. This movie is full of nincompoopery that will have you in stitches.
The Food Coalition trucks will be parked on the hill on the backside of the meadow. Food trucks will begin serving one hour before the start of the movies and stop 30 minutes prior to the end of the movies.
For those of you that enjoy the occasion cocktail, we invite you to bring your favorite spirits and mixers. Feel free to share with those around that enjoy a little nip now and then. As long as you do not make daiquiris with honey! Just ghastly!
We would like to remind every one of our rules and some etiquette to remember while in Emerald Park.
We ask that you have a enjoyable and wonderful time during our event. If you need assistance, please reach out to those in the blue and green volunteer shirts.
